RIP, heart
Last night, I lost something that had been a big part of me. Or wished that it had been indeed because truthfully speaking, I may have had it neglected for a time now and to say that I was one with it might as well be a lie.
Amazingly, I feel that this…

Donde es amigo cuanto alumbra el sol;
Muerte es la brisa para quien no tiene
Una patria, una madre y un amor!Canto de Maria Clara. The Song of Maria Clara. This is one of the numerous poems by the man, our great hero, Jose Rizal whose 151st birthday we commemorate and celebrate today.
This poem was reinvented and given a modern touch when Filipino Indie Pop Royalty The Camerawalls with their frontman Clementince Castro decided to make it as a song. This song is the seventh track of their 2008 debut album, Pocket Guide to the Otherworld.
If you cannot understand Spanish, you can view the English translation and the Filipino translation of the poem by clicking the link.
Maligayang ika-151 kaarawan at mabuhay ka Gat Jose Rizal!

New beginnings.
Lovely idea.
In retrospect, what’s the difference with this and the cliche resolutions we set for New Year’s ?
Maybe nothing. Or probably this time a deeper introspection of how we are and how we want things to be.
Thing is, as long as we feel that we can change something in our lives, make it different somehow, then it’s good.
Anyhow, im just really glad to have listened to my friends who talked me out of doing something irreversible.
Cheerio! :)

Was inspired to write one of these hehe.
